I found a Dutch singer songwriter, with songs in Dutch, that I love. This has never happened before.

made me a little obsessed with “Never Let Me Go” by Florence + the Machine. 

Too bad that, despite liking at least a few of their songs, I cannot shake how bad their live performance was when I saw them at a festival 2 years ago.

Hello Finn Andrews & oh! Sophia Burn & that marvellous new drummer Raife Burchell who once told me my English sounded like.. you know, English & Dan Raishbrook - I am so looking forward to a new album. Or um, any new song.

My sister and I as we are planning our annual “Emo day” for our visit to a music festival this weekend.

“Should we go for the black nail polish / bandana / cap / sunglasses combo for Avenged Sevenfold, or the ‘You’re our SAVIOURRRR Jared Leto’ combined with studs, black eyeliner, Panic at the Disco Shirt, and the inevitable black nail polish - look?”

The new Death Cab For Cutie album.. At least it makes me feel less divided about this band. The band that I was obsessed with when I met my boyfriend, and so was he. So they will always have that special place in my heart. But their previous album “Narrow Stairs” was never a true favourite of mine & seeing them live back then was SUCH a disappointment as they put on the most uninspired show I have ever seen. (I saw them a few years before that giving a killer performance). Never bothered to listen to them again after that. But now.. I actually enjoy listening to them once more.
